Creating Breathing Space (Psyche + Body)

Secondly, the reason you need this in your life, and the effects it’ll have:

  1. Chances are, you don’t realise how much effort you’re wasting. Not just in your movement or training… But in your life, too. Because you’re probably not focusing on your breathing enough of the time — and breathing is a layer that deserves a solid percentage of your attention, 100% of the time.
  2. If I were coaching you, this is what I’d invite you to change: Become breath-awareness. Literally become it. Call yourself a monk or an athlete or an entrepreneur… It doesn’t matter. Just know your breathing intimately in this eternal present moment. This is the lever that changes things.
  3. Breathing isn’t a technique… it’s an awareness practice. A harmonisation between your psyche/energy and your body’s structure. A bridge between unconscious and conscious function that we can open or close. A window into your state of being, that when tracked, enables you to notice details you’d normally miss while remaining in a flowing, energised, internally supported state. This is not only biologically healing — it also enhances your focus, training quality + output immensely.
  4. Every major system and function your body has is downstream of breathing. It is a causal chain that detoxifies + clears inflammation (lymph flow) keeps nerves and organs healthy (blood flow) and supports efficient movement and performance (neurological function).

Breath mastery is the anatomical and energetic lynch pin that keeps your body, and therefore your psyche, business and relationships thriving. Yet it’s still seen as some cute accessory to “tune up” rather than to build lives around.

If you want to transform the quality of your training, movement and life… learning foundations of breathing is essential.

I’ve been studying + teaching this specific area of movement for 6 years now. The worlds of meditation, yoga, elite sport, strength + functional training, rehabilitation and somatic therapy have all lead me right back to the breath, again and again.

I initially looked into breathing to heal my back and found a gateway into a forgotten sense of peace. So I’m sharing the distilled insights, experiential practice and specific movements in the Breathing Space workshop.

I’m running a breathing space online workshop in less than 10 hours (7AM AEDT) where we’ll be dropping into a state where your most nourishing, intuitive breathing pattern is the guiding principle.

Your nervous system will inform the tempo. You’ll learn to sense and respond to your body’s whispers to set the tone for your practice — and I’ll help you discern between your green zone (body is available to adapt) or your red zone (body is tightening + protecting itself).

I’ll be teaching you (while we’re breathing in this state together) the best movements I’ve learned and created, to heal my body + feel clear.

You’ll learn specific exercises I’ve taught elite athletes, physical labourers, entrepreneurs and parents.
